I hate balverines. I've already had my movie star good looks spoilt by one in a previous battle that left me with four permanent scars across my face, and I've just been attacked by two more as a deterrent against swearing.
I was on a quest to find an archaeologist who was hidden behind a demon door that can only be opened by hitting four lettered stones in the correct order to spell the name of the demon. It appears his name is HITS, and naturally I couldn't resist trying out a naughty anagram of his name first and two balverines promptly appeared from nowhere and preceeded to claw me to pieces.
It could have been worse I suppose, his name could have been NUCT.
